Why having a birthday in October sucks:
- Because it is outside of the footy season, people forget about it.
- The weather is either shitty, crap, or shitty crap. Too hot, too cold, too bloody hard to plan anything.
- Because Christmas presents are already in stores, people think it is ok to combine your presents. Piss off, that shit doesn’t happen for another 12 to 8 weeks.
Good things:
- Miss Piggy isn’t the only one born on October 13, 1974.
But next year, it’ll probably be inside he footy season.

No one should combine presents… Happs Birthday and have a festive pull on your teats and may your two stomachs be full and content.
Combined presents? No way, what a cop out. If your birthday was in December I might understand… sort of. Ok, not really.
@Dale: No, they are getting rid of the preseason season, so I’ll still be out of it.
@Susan: We cows don’t have two stomachs, technically a cow does not have “four stomachs”, but rather 4 digestive compartments within their stomachs.
The four digestive compartments in order are:
1. reticulum (the hardware stomach, where foreign objects collect that cannot pass through the digestive system)
2. rumen (where bacteria break down cellulose and fibre from plant material)
3. omasum (absorbs water and digestible nutrients)
4. abomasum (which would be the true stomach, as in humans)
Either way, combined presents suck.
@Mish: Around here, one of the calves has their birthday on December 25. We refuse to allow combined presents then either.
One thing you learn when milking cows (by hand) is to be weary of hind legs. Oh, and where to place the bucket so the cow doesn’t trod in it.
Cold hands didn’t seem to upset the cows much.
My birthday is on December the 15th. That’s a date that sucks for getting combined presents.
My stepsister got it worse though, she’s the 25th of December.
